About AAWSBVI

The Alumni Association of the Wisconsin School for the Blind and Visually Impaired (AAWSBVI) is a non-profit organization established in 1897.

The association is open to all students who attended the school during at least one academic school year.  It is not necessary to have graduated from the school.  Staff who were employed at the school or the Wisconsin Center for the Blind and Visually Impaired during an academic school year are also eligible for membership.

The organization holds reunions every 3 years, usually at the school in Janesville.  Attendance at reunions typically numbers between 100 and 150 former students and staff.

Donations are accepted by the Treasurer and may be tax deductible.  Please check with your tax adviser.
