Linda Mentink

Linda Mentink graduated from WSVH in 1974, and has attended every triennial Alumni reunion since. After graduating from WSVH, she attended UW-Whitewater, where she earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in vocal music with certification to teach grades K-12. Linda taught at WSVH during the 1979-80 school year, then worked there in 1985 as the Braille transcriber for a few months.

In August of 2004 Linda moved to Nebraska, where she teaches vocal music at Bible Baptist Christian School and helps with the choirs at the church. She is also active in the National Federation of the Blind on the national, state and local levels because she believes it is important to be involved with the blind of the nation, state, and community where she lives.

Linda has always participated in the Alumni orchestra and chorus, and directed the chorus a couple times. It has been her privilege to perform on some of the final concerts and memorial services. She was chairperson for the 2012 reunion concert, and co-chairperson of the 2015 reunion program committee. Linda is co-chairperson for the 2018 reunion program committee, because she wants to do her part to help our reunions be enjoyable experiences for all who attend.
